My friend started this Forex shennanigans 4 days ago and has literally made £1300, I've only heard bad things about Forex and all of this so I have little to no clue, I've tried googling/watching Youtube and there's still no clear answer?

4. Google Calendar : Start planning through this app. Its highly underrated and I suggest you take time and learn how GCal works. Most people only use this after they started working, getting a head start is always better.
5. Mendeley atau reference manager lain : Lu akan menghabiskan waktu 4 tahun baca artikel ilmiah, kadang mereka suka aneh formatting filenya kalo di-download dan mereka udah pasti gak appealing untuk di-save di laptop. Mendeley cuts off all of the problems and puts all of your references in one place. (Available on desktop and mobile)
6. Google Scholar : Berhubungan dengan sebelumnya, Google Scholar akan menjadi wikipedia elu di perguruan tinggi. You will access this site almost every day in uni.
7. Genesis Library : Adalah perpustakaan terlengkap di jagad internet. Gak usah beli textbook kalau lu gak mampu, download aja di sini.

10. m-Banking app from your bank : Sekarang apa-apa sudah serba digital, belom lagi kalau lo butuh bayar-bayar atau patungan sama temen. Dengan adanya mbanking app, lo udah gak butuh ke ATM. Bahkan, sekarang mbanking bisa bayar ke OVO, Gopay, or Shoppee Pay lewat QRIS.

Hello everyone just finished the book "How to Day Trade for a Living" by Andrew, a great book i made sure to take my time reading and digesting as much as i can and it took me 2 weeks of slow reading and revising everything to finish the book. Anyway i just have few questions and need advice on what to do next.

• The Concept of HFT is still a mysterious fear for me, it sounds like this thing making sure you fail in trading and very few people beat it, is there HFT all the time on stocks?
• how long do you think i should Day Trade in a simulation before moving to the real thing, 3 months or more?
• is there anything else you think i should learn or practice before starting ( plan to start after 6 months to make sure I'm not rushing into this )
• you can't day trade with less than 25,000$ well that is a big capital for me to start with, is there really no way to day trade with 1,000$ I'm willing to start small ( also not from US ) if there is truly no way to start below 25k do you think i should start Forex or Options since it allows low capital and build my way up to Day Trading
• if i should start with one of those two will the same concept work there, or is it a totally different beast that requires different setup, Strategies, scanner and preparation for?

well that's about it for now sorry if there are basic concepts i still don't understand, i know that reading that book isn't a foundation but just scrapping the surface and i want to prepare for this as optimally as i can.

I'm learning trading and have been focusing on stocks but find there are lots of entry barriers cost wise, especially when living in the EU for scanners and tools.
My reasoning was that there are more stocks and so it's easier to find markets that are not as competitive as the rest?
Forex seems like the place where big banks and institutional players hang out and manipulate making it more dificult for us retial traders to have a chance competing against them.
In your experience what is the most stress free trading market where you can go in and do analysis, buy something then:

I noticed following indicators means you have to keep checking them the whole time and this adds a level of stress that I'd prefer not to have.

So apparently another one of my friends have "discovered" Forex through IML and during that same week now all of a sudden their a "Fx guru" and making millions. To me this is a slap in the face because I have been trying to teach myself how to trade for 2 years, but I never became profitable only because I didn't have no clear direction other then Babypips. It wasn't until I joined this fb group that strictly teaches technical analysis and compares markups with each other that I finally started to grasp the concept of trading, and even though i'm not be profitable yet at least i'm on the right path of becoming so. Now what is really irritating me about this friend is how i'm being told how i'm wasting my time trying to learn fx on my own, and how I can start making "bags" if I join IML using their signals and Harmonic scanner that's worth $100,000. If I wanted to do IML I would have done so from the very beginning, but sadly with me being a college student I don't have the funds to maintain a account with them, but not only that I wouldn't have done IML in the first place after I found out that they tell you what the do rather then you figuring it out for yourself. I'm the type of person that don't like to rely on somebody else to determine my success especially when money is evolved.

Hi Forex, hope everyone’s been catching pips this week.
This has probably been posted on the sub before but the search function on Reddit isn’t too great, so here I am asking again... are there any websites/MT4 extensions that detect chart patterns such as Head and Shoulders, Double Tops, Cup and Handle etc?
To be clear, I already have strategies in place to qualify when to trade these patterns, and when not to, so I’d still be doing that when the scanner detects a pattern. I only trade 3 majors at the moment and with the aid of the scanner, I could potentially start tracking other pairs too.
